Looking for a
camera club?
Formed in 1882, Bury Photographic Society is a camera club in Bury, Greater Manchester which has a wide range of events throughout the year with something to suit every style of photographer. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and supportive environment to help all our members improve their photography at whatever level.
We run competitions through the year, have guest speakers who talk to us about their specialisations, friendly battles (a type of competition) with other local camera clubs and host our own evenings to share our knowledge and skills. We hold practical sessions on editing and camera techniques.
We also have a number of special interest groups (SIGs), organised by our members, which concentrate on specific types of photography, and through sharing our knowledge and skills we help each other to improve.
Why not come along and try us out for free? You can contact us for more information.
Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
We have a number of groups within the club that specialise in certain aspects of photography. It’s a great way to learn from each other and to improve our photography skills. Why not join us to take part and improve your photography? Click on one of the groups to learn more about it.
